Yesterday in the annual FinnGen face-to-face meeting we were honoured to share the best FinnGen paper award for 2025 together with Kira Detrois from the DSGE lab! This was a nice recognition for this collaborative work which started in 2022 as part of the INTERVENE consortium. The prize was shared with another very interesting work by Mary Pat Reeve and Stephanie Loomis: Loss of CFHR5 function reduces the risk for age-related macular degeneration.
